When my first baby was born, I was already used to carrying a lot. I was running a business and managing a household, &, yes, even as a therapist, balancing the mental load felt normal. But then came the feeding schedules, the sleepless nights, my baby’s constant need. & suddenly, life wasn’t just busy. You can go at your own pace, revisit anything you want, pause when you need to, and come back when life slows down or you feel ready for the next piece.

It gives you language and strategies that will help both of you feel more heard.     • I mean, sure. But my guess is, you’ve already done that, haven’t you? Pause for a minute and be real with yourself. How well has that been working? Has anything gotten better? If not, hear me out: This isn’t about tips; it’s about tools. 

    • What’s the difference? Tips tend to be generic advice, often vague and hard to follow—things like, “Just be a better listener,” or “Delegate more to share responsibility.” It sounds good, but it’s not actually very helpful. Tools on the other hand, are concrete, specific, and actionable. I’m not going to tell you to be a better listener; I’m going to show you exactly how to do that, step-by-step. I’m not going to tell you to delegate, and then leave you floundering; I’m going to lay out the entire process, so you never feel lost. This course gives you a shared structure, and communication scripts that take the pressure off, so you’re not having to figure it all out in the moment.

    • You can do either one. Some couples benefit from watching it together, pausing to discuss along the way and using it as a springboard for deeper conversations. But if things feel tense and you’d benefit from more space to process, or if life is so busy that it’s hard to find time in your schedules to sit down together, it can be just as beneficial to take it in separately and talk through it later. It works either way, and honestly, what makes the biggest difference is just willingness to show up and your commitment to working through this, however you can.
