Showering alone, taking a work call without interruption, having thirty minutes to yourself to catch your breath, these basic needs now feel like luxuries. It’s hard not to feel anxious and furious when you’re the default parent, but your husband seems to get all the space and time he needs.
For years, people-pleasing and taking care of everyone else worked for you. But then motherhood hit, and now it’s all too much. You don’t have the energy to meet everyone’s needs anymore, but you don’t know any other way of living.

Hi, I’m Sanah Kotadia, LPC, NCC
I’m a therapist, coach, and mom, working with ambitious, career-driven moms online throughout Texas. I know the challenges of motherhood personally: burnout, overwhelm, perfectionism, people-pleasing, the endlessly competing demands of career and family. I’m passionate about this work because of my own journey through the struggles (and triumphs!) of motherhood. While it may feel impossible now, I want you to know that through motherhood, you get to expand your identity, not sacrifice one part of it for another.
As a South Asian woman and the oldest daughter in my family-of-origin, I love helping moms like you from diverse backgrounds navigate all the layers of expectations that come from yourselfves, your family, and society. If you’re overwhelmed with trying to balance motherhood, marriage, and a career you love while maintaining a sense of self, know that you’re not alone. Let’s work together to help you thrive!
